Instant Translator|
Instant Translator is a new experimental activity for MSN Messenger 6.0 (and later) and Windows Live Messenger which allows on-the-fly translation of all incoming messages. This may come handy when you have to chat with people on the Internet who don't speak the same language(s) as you do. You won't have to copy and paste text from a computer-aided translation website anymore. This applet is based on the Messenger Activity SDK and uses Yahoo!'s Babel Fish Translation website for the translation. The installer simply copies a small configuration file to the Messenger folder. To start the activity, close any currently opened conversation and reopen it to take changes into effect, then click the Actions > Start Instant Translator menu. Note: since this activity uses an ActiveX control (Microsoft XMLHTTP) and requires access to an external website (Yahoo) you may receive a security warning upon the reception of the first message. See the readme.txt file in the zip for more information. |

ICQ Fixer|
ICQ Fixer will patch the registry with the correct settings so that you can place a NetMeeting call to someone else using ICQ. Actually ICQ says something like "you have called your own computer". This is due to incorrect settings in the registry for ICQ. This patch should correct this. The latest version also adds Network Address Translation (NAT) support for Windows NetMeeting. Note: you can learn more about the NetMeeting and ICQ programs by visiting the Microsoft NetMeeting and the Mirabilis ICQ Web sites. For additional information and workarounds please visit The Windows NetMeeting Zone by Robert Scoble and MeetingByWire by Brian Sullivan. |

Winnov Remote Zoom|
This file will install the Winnov Videum Zoom applet on your system so that you can remotely control the digital zoom of a Winnov Videum AV (or VO) video capture card when you are in a videoconference with someone who owns one. This installation is only useful to people who don't have such a card in their system since this applet is part of the Winnov driver installation. The components in this installation come from V2.9.1 of the Winnov drivers. Note: all the files in this package were developed by Winnov. I only created this installation file. This was only tested in Windows 2000 professional. |
